The Drug Policy Forum of Hawai'i is concerned about drug abuse in Hawai'i, in America and in the world. Drug abuse is harmful to both the abuser and to those around him or her. For this reason, the DPFH feels that we need to be objective about drugs. To label certain drugs as "bad" and others "good" is an oversimplification of a complex social, health, legal and political issue. We will be assembling a F.A.Q. on drug use and abuse over the next few weeks in order to encourage objective and reasoned dialogue on this issue. We hope you will check back soon and join us in the discussion.

As always, the Drug Policy Forum of Hawai'i supports open and reasoned discussion on the topic of drug use, abuse and addiction. The DPFH relies on government studies and documented experimental research as the foundation for this drug FAQ. If you have information, reports, studies and/or other factual evidence which support or conflict with the information in our FAQ we look forward to seeing it. Please send your questions, comments and data to the Webmaster.
